2008 Player Registration:
$95.00 per player
Any player who did not play
in VYSL last season is considered to be a
new player. All new players must provide a
copy of their state issued birth
certificates at the registration. The league
will need to keep the copy, it does not have
to have a raised seal. County birth
certificates only, not hospital
certificates. Photo-copies of originals are
acceptable.
Registration Notes and Requirements
We look
forward to seeing you at registration,
please follow the guidelines below to ensure
that you have all the required items to
complete registration.
1. Children must be 4 years old before July
31 to be able to play in the 2008 season.
2. All new players
need to bring a
copy of their birth
certificate that the league may
keep. This includes any player that DID NOT
play in VYSL last year.
3. Any late registration (after May 29) will
be placed on a waiting list and will incur a
late fee and will only be placed on a team
if a roster spot becomes available.
4. Refunds will be as follows:
Before August 1 - Full refund
After August 1 - No refund will be given.
5. The league is made up of parent
volunteers. Please
VOLUNTEER to help coach, be active on a
committee, or become a Board member. You can make a difference by volunteering a
few minutes of your time.
Registration FAQ's
When does
the season begin? The fall season will
begin in August and September depending on
the age group. Practices normally start in
the last week of July. Coaches will call you when
they receive their team paperwork. If you
have not been contacted by August 10, send
an email to
registrar@vysl.org
What does it cost? Registration fee
is $95 per player. This includes a new
uniform, insurance, and helps defray league
operational costs. Team and individual
photos are taken on picture day and are
available at extra cost.
How do we register with the VUSC
(Competitive and Metro)? The coach or
manager of the team will meet with you to
arrange registration. The registration fee
is the same for all levels, Comp-Metro-Rec.
Comp and Metro fees are adjusted to reflect
the fact that they do not receive uniforms
as they purchase uniforms themselves.
